SCB is a leading bank with an enviable client list and deal access requires analysts and associates with Finance experience. The role will involve a good mix of origination and execution, exposure to senior management and an entrepreneurial working culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support senior staff on SCCG transaction origination and execution
• Financial modeling
• Preparation and presentation of information memoranda, pitch books, presentations, prospectuses, fairness opinions (including valuation), other forms of reports or BCAs under the supervision of Directors
• Carry out due diligence under the supervision of Directors / Associate Directors.
• Assist Directors / Associate Directors in structuring transactions
• Collect, review and analyse financial and other information from multiple sources
• Sector and client research
• Contribute to the sourcing of new ideas

Ideal Candidate:

• Highly motivated individuals with a strong record of achievement in academics and/or summer/full time employment in corporate finance
• Candidates should have a Bachelors/Masters/CPA degree from a good university and grades placing him / her in the top 10 percentile. Strong experience in investment banking / appropriate industry sector
• Superior analytical aptitude, creative problem solving abilities and excellent communication skills

Key skills (that they already have or would need to develop within a short time span) include

(i)ability to work with Excel spreadsheets;

(ii) familiarity with other key software’s such as Word, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, etc;

(iii) generate prospectuses/ information memoranda/ investment teasers/ pitch books;

(iv) general industry/ country/ company researches;

(v) ability to perform Discounted Cash Flow and other forms of valuation.
