Prestigious asset management company seeks Mortgage Research Programmer/Analyst for fixed income group. Ideal candidate will have a degree in CS, EE, Math, Physics, Finance or Economics and have a strong desire to work in an analytical development team focused on delivering cutting edge mortgage analytics, research and surveillance systems. Strong C++ and PERL programming skills required. Candidate must have the ability and willingness to read and summarize research, develop, test deploy and maintain new and existing software systems and work with large data sets. Experience and/or strong understanding of SQL and basics of RDBMS helpful. Programming skills in Excel/VBA,SAS, Splus, R and experience working with INTEX or Trepp is a plus. One to three years of relevant business experience is required. Excellent compensation. NYC location.
