An LDI strategist is needed to take a lead on providing bespoke solutions for UK pension schemes within this dynamic, quant focused Asset Management firm.
My client is a reputable and prestigious leading provider of Liability Driven Investment solutions. It is their priority to employ some of the brightest minds in the world to develop and drive their ground breaking products.

The role will also involve taking a lead role in developing the product offering (LDIs), working with relevant product, channel and support groups as necessary. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and commercialising the product set for UK pension schemes, with a particular focus on the £100m - £1bn total scheme assets client segment. This will involve working closely with the sales teams to create as well as deliver client solutions using the full range of their products.

As a result, you will need to be able to demonstrate an ability to develop client specific solutions using a combination of liability solutions funds, alpha and beta products.

Key skills and qualifications

• Degree level education in a quantitative subject (maths, statistics, economics, finance) • CFA, FIA or similar professional qualification • Experience in a relevant role (e.g. actuarial or investment consultant, ALM strategist, investment strategist) • Strong multi-asset class knowledge • Knowledge of portfolio theory, optimization and risk analysis • Awareness of pension fund accounting, ALM techniques and actuarial techniques • Familiarity with derivatives instruments • Good knowledge of Bloomberg and MS Office applications • Strong presentation skills, with an ability to represent my client at a very senior level
